Every week the Eco-club empty our recycling bins, place fruit and vegetable waste in the compost bin, take part in the RSPB Birdwatch and take part in a range of assemblies involving topics such as fair trade, or being wise about our energy use. Recent successes have included winning the token scheme at Tescos which allowed for £10 000 to be spent on improving the environmental area.
Mrs Sheern leads the group of children from each class, voted by the children.
The school council meet regularly to plan fundraising events, talk about improvements they would like to see in school and to help find out what the children in our school think.

The active council provides a voice for the children and influences the type of activities that the children would like to see in class or outside, or equipment they would like to have for use in their free time in the playground.
